I actually found it doing a general quote search. There was two versions of this quote; it took quite a bit of research to find the accurate one.
This quote hit me as especially meaningful.

PS I’m meeting with a Carlista (Spanish Cathlics primarily from Navara and Pais Vasco who were Confederate allies – 5,000 0f them came to Dixie to fight for the CSA) in a little over a week’s time. Going to be interviewing a represenative from the largest Carlista party in Spain today. Should be a great interview. The quote is reported as being from a Letter to James Frazier Jacquess & James R. Gilmore, 17 Jul 1864. I do not personally have a copy of the letter; if you do I would appreciate it if you could email a copy to me.
I have an extensive collection of quotes and that is the only one I do not have the original source letter for. Later today I will be posting a quote from a speech that Davis made before the Confederate Congress on May 2, 1864, that I think is very revealing about the atrocities the Union was inflicting.
I know my wife has been reading their website and I will definitely let her know about the videos. My wife is first and foremost a Texan, but she is very interested in learning about the history of her countries of origin.
