Public Schools More Like Government Re-Education Camps

The Catholic Knight has written a great article on our public education system that is more like government re-education camps than learning institutes.  The only way to correct our failed education system is to put the power of choice back into the parent’s hands where it belongs and is the only way our children will get a real, worthwhile education.

Scores of women in Central American nation are brutally murdered for merely being female

The Central American nation of Guatemala has been one of the hardest hit  by a wave of “femicides” – murders committed against women for the sole  reason that they are female. Guatemala is second only to Mexico in terms of murders committed against women. Right-wing retired general Otto  Pérez Molina, recently elected to president has already formed a “task  force to combat femicide.”
