TUSCALOOSA - To coach Patrick Murphy, Alabama junior Lauren Parker looked normal. Her swing looked fluid, and the ball was jumping again.
It was like old times, which meant the first-team softball All-American was officially back.
Trailing for the first time in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional, Parker loudly announced her return with a two-run home run in the fifth inning to send the No. 1 Crimson Tide to a super regional with a 4-1 win over No. 3 Jacksonville State Saturday night. [more]
